Award winning model, artist, and singer, Phillip Nelson was born in the countryside of Oklahoma. Since childhood, his love for the arts continued. He stated, "I was born wild and untamed. I have so much to give to this world."

Over the years, he mastered various art mediums. In 2015, he made his art debut with a series of superhero paintings from Marvel and DC. He's been contributing art for various comics for years. Currently, Phillip is writing and creating artwork for his own graphic novel. He plans to release an art book of his portfolio in the near future. 

​

In 2018, Phillip won the Best New Artist award for his 2017 painting: STORM. In 2023, Phillip contributed costume designs for David King and Spirit in the video game: Dead By Daylight.

​

During Phillip's childhood, he sang in church. Being unable to read sheet music, he would create harmonies from sound. In his adulthood, Phillip had health issues that resulted in intense vocal surgery. He spent years relearning how to talk and sing. He adapted and overcame the vocal hurdles. His cover album, REEMERGENCE, was the start of a promising musical career. In 2026, Phillip will release his first album of original music. He wrote the album over a span of two years. The lead single is titled "Sweat Boy."

For over a decade, Phillip modeled for many high fashion campaigns and runway shows (2010 - present). He was featured in various music videos and appeared on television. Some notable fashion campaigns include the Think Green Recycling Campaign, Fashion Week, Kevin Murphy's Big Show, and more.

In 2014, Phillip was in an episode of the reality series, Millionaire Matchmaker. He said, "It was a different experience for me at the time, but I had fun on the show. Patti Stanger is a sweetheart!" 

​

Phillip was the lead star in the movie, Human Desires. It was set to be his breakthrough in acting. Due to editing disagreements between the studio and director, the movie was shelved before its release date.  

​

In his early career, he was an extra in the Britney Spears "Work B*tch" music video, appeared in Nick Cannon's "If I Die Young" music video, and was featured in Bennie Cinkle's "Can You See Me Now" music video.

​

He won the Elephant Rescue Foundation Honorary Award in 2015 for his hands-on experience of helping baby elephants and is currently working on writing his memoir, Leaf in the Wind.

​

Leaf in the Wind is a memoir based on his philosophical values of life and self-discovery. He reveals the extensive sexual, physical, and emotional abuse he has overcome. Phillip wanted to share his life experiences with others who may identify with an abusive background. It's his desire to inspire those who have experienced such difficulties to become survivors.

"I'm lost for words. I'm never lost for words; I often talk a lot! In all seriousness, as a kid full of stars in my eyes, I've always dreamt of winning an Oscar. As I'm getting older, I gave up on that dream.

 

Sometimes, life brings us down another dirt road. This award is that Oscar for me. We don't help nature for awards; we help nature to preserve the beauty of life. To obtain an award like this is truly surreal.

 

Pinch me! I feel like I'm in a fuckin' dream. Wait! Don't pinch me. Can I please stay in this moment a little longer?
